Every morning my father often read the newspaper to see about news of the day...

1. Definition of News Item
News item text is a factual text which inform reader or daily newspaper about events of the day which are regarder as newsworth or important.

Passive Voice

There are two voices in English, the active and the passive. The active tells us what the subject does, for example: The secretary wrote a letter.
The passive tells us what is done to the subject. For example: The letter was written by the secretary.
Sometimes the term Personal Passive is used in English lessons if the indirect object of an active sentence is to become the subject of the passive sentence.

Direct and Indirect Speech

In a broadcast news, we often hear these two sentence patterns… It is Direct and Indirect Speech.

Direct speech is refers to reproducing another person exact word. We usually used quotation marks (" ").
Example of Direct Speech :
1. Justin said, “I’m very busy.”
2. They said, “We have bought a picture.”
3. She said, “I am learning my lesson.”

Surprise or disbeliefs is :
> A feeling that we feel when we heard an amazing news which surprised and amazed us.
> Aan expression that we show/say when we know/hear/see something that rather difficult to believe.
> Used to express something that we can’t or impossible.

Gratitude is expression used to say thank you to other people.
-     We can express our gratitude with saying :
